As the Junior Accountant advances in the role, the incumbent takes on preparing compilation and review engagement working paper files to be reviewed by senior management.<br /></p><p><br /></p><p>What You&#39;ll Do as a Junior Accountant Student:<br /></p><ul><li>Prepare compilation engagements.</li><li>Prepare review engagement working paper files.</li><li>Preparation of full bookkeeping services for external businesses.</li><li>Prepare corporate tax returns.</li><li>Prepare personal tax returns.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>What You&#39;ll Bring to the Team:</p><ul><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.</li><li>Strong analytical ability.</li><li>Problem solving skills.</li><li>Commitment to high quality work and client service.<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Length of Internship:</p><p>Starting January 2026, Gauvreau welcomes full-time co-op internships of 8 and/or 12 months.<br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Location:<br />Peterborough HQ (150 King St, Peterborough ON) - In person<br /></p></p></p>
