This exciting opportunity is for a driven and eager Junior Buyer to join our client’s team in North York!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing raw materials, components, and services needed for production.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Request and compare vendor quotations to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production and warehouse teams to maintain adequate supply.
  • Follow up with suppliers to confirm order status, resolve delivery issues, and track shipments.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information in ERP systems.
  • Support senior buyers in supplier evaluations, contract administration, and negotiations.
  • Ensure materials meet company specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvements and business growth.


Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1+ year of purchasing experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated and accountable, with a proven ability to execute and deliver results.
  • Proactive problem solver with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with ERP systems and MS Excel.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
  • Available to work in-office from 7:30am-5:00pm.
