Role Description


This is a full-time position for a Junior Lawyer at Nicholas Robinson Criminal Lawyer located in Toronto, ON with flexibility for some remote work. The Junior Lawyer will be responsible for supporting the Senior Counsel on cases, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, attending court, and communicating with clients. The Junior Lawyer will also be responsible for managing their own case files and assisting with administrative tasks when necessary. Tasks will include drafting pleadings and/or in person or telephone attendances in court for adjournments, sentencings etc. Regular travel to our office in Regina, SK will be required.

Qualifications


  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Attention to detail and time management skills
  • Experience with criminal law is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and legal software programs
  • Licensed and in good standing with either the Law Society of Ontario or Saskatchewan.
