Each employee plays an essential role in shaping a workplace where safety is embedded in every action we take, and where incidents are prevented before they happen. <br><br><strong>How you’ll make an impact </strong><br />Essential to the business by driving high production output, the machine operator in our Wound Core and Amorphous departments ensure operational efficiency, and deliver high-quality products on time to meet customer expectations.<br><br><strong>Please note this role is a contract role to start and is on the continental rotating shift (11-12 hour shifts rotating between days and nights)</strong><br><br><strong>Job Responsibilities </strong><ul><li>Set up machine according to work order and operating procedures</li><li>Ensure product meets quality requirements as per work order, operating procedures and customers’ specifications. Diligently inspect product and document</li><li>Basic troubleshooting of machine and process flow </li><li>Read work orders and understand all measurements</li><li>Follow priority schedule and achieve production requirements</li><li>Be fluent in measuring devices </li><li>Safely operate equipment follow ALL safety requirements </li><li>Keep workstation clean and organized</li><li>Work collaboratively with incoming/outgoing shifts</li><li>Contract role to start with potential to become a full-time permanent role.</li><li>This role is on the continental rotation shift </li></ul><br /><strong>Qualifications</strong><ul><li>1 year minimum Manufacturing experience is a requirement</li><li>Strong measuring skills using tape measurers, vernier calipers, and micrometers is an asset</li><li>Mechanically inclined with a strong focus on safety</li><li>Exceptional communication skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Organized</li><li>Basic computer skills</li><li>Exceptional attendance </li><li>Able to follow instructions and procedures</li><li>Respect for your fellow team members</li></ul><strong>Why JFE Shoji Power?</strong><br />Shift Premium<br />On the job training<br><br><strong>As a fulltime permanent employee, you would receive:</strong><br />Competitive health and dental benefits<br />Production Bonus plan<br />Retirement savings program with company matched pension plan<p>Powered by JazzHR</p><p>lJZ4qg7ZyN</p></p></p>
