We're looking for a Facilities & Maintenance Assistant - a reliable, hands-on person who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. You'll be part of the small but mighty team that ensures our space is clean, organized, and operating safely every day.
Responsibilities
Maintenance Support
- Complete routine maintenance tasks (changing filters, replacing consumables, basic repairs).
- Assist with equipment inspections and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Help with installation or movement of equipment as needed.
- Report maintenance issues early and help keep the facility operating safely.
Shipping & Receiving
- Receive deliveries, unload materials, and assist with organizing inventory.
- Keep storage areas neat, labeled, and easy to navigate.
- Support internal teams with material movement around the facility.
Grounds & Facility Upkeep
- Maintain outdoor areas: snow removal, minor landscaping, debris cleanup.
- Keep walkways, parking areas, and entrances safe and tidy.
- Support building cleanliness, waste removal, and recycling routines.
What You Bring:
- Local to Edmonton or able to commute reliably.
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities support, or shipping/receiving preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in doing the job right the first time.
- Comfortable with hands-on, active work — some lifting (up to 50 lbs / 22 kg) required.
- Able to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
- Valid driver's license required; forklift or equipment experience a plus (training available).
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and able to provide proof of vaccination.
Job Type: Full-time
