You may also apply to our website at<strong> <strong><strong><strong>https://canadian-base-<span >operators.breezy.hr</span></strong></strong></strong></strong><br /></p><p><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li><strong> </strong>Carries out preventive maintenance inspections and tasks generated by the maintenance management system.</li><li>Maintains and repairs domestic plumbing and hot water heating systems including fixtures, traps, electric hot water heaters, Drain Waste Vent (DWV) systems, airlines and compressors.</li><li>Conducts daily water tests and ensuring correct water chemistry for boiler systems.</li><li>Orders consumables and material for preventive, periodic and corrective maintenance.</li><li>Assists with estimates for installation, repair and replacement of plumbing and heating systems.</li><li>Installs new components in accordance with working drawings and OEM recommendations.</li><li>Assists in the maintenance of domestic heating systems.</li><li>Assists with maintenance of POL facilities and assists other trades as required.</li><li>Inspects the work of related subcontractors. Corrects minor deficiencies in any trade or specialty within their ability.</li><li>Other duties as required within the capabilities of the individual.</li></ul><ul></ul><p><strong>COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li> Communicates Effectively </li><li> Continuous Learning</li><li> Holds Self and Others Accountable</li><li> Problem Solving and Innovation </li><li> Teamwork and Collaboration</li></ul><p><strong>EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><p>Degree or Diploma in:</p><ul><li> High School Diploma or Equivalent</li><li> Plumbing</li></ul><p>The following <span >certifications/designations</span> are considered a requirement: </p><ul><li>Red Seal (Plumbing) Certification OR Ontario 306A</li></ul><ul><li> Gas Fitter (G2)<ul><li>Backflow certification would be considered an asset </li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years of plumbing experience in a commercial setting</li><li><span >Utilities/Construction/FMO/Service/Projects</span></li></ul><p><strong>SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS </strong></p><p>Proficient knowledge and understanding of:</p><ul><li>Understand technical documents and drawings </li><li> Organization and time management</li></ul><p>Proficient user of: <br /></p><ul><li> DSI platform</li><li> Must have a valid G driver&#39;s license</li><li><strong> Must be have or be able to receive and maintain a Level II security clearance with the Government of Canada.</strong></li></ul><p>ECRA/ESA Licence # 7016418</p><p>Due to many mandatory vaccination requirements at client projects / facilities, in order to provide substantial employment by ensuring compliance with our clients&#39; mandates, the successful candidate may be required to validate full vaccination prior to hire.<br><br>Canadian Base Operators welcomes and encourages applications from persons with disabilities.
