Job Description
Adecco is actively seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician (Electrical & Mechanical) to join our client's team and support the reliability and performance of their manufacturing operations in Scarborough, ON. This full-time role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong troubleshooting expertise, a proactive approach to preventive maintenance, and a commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.- Pay Rate: $41/hour.
- Location: Scarborough, ON
- Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-1:00am and Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm
- Job type: Permanent Full-time
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on production equipment
- Diagnose equipment issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime
- Execute preventive maintenance programs and conduct regular equipment inspections
- Assist with installation, commissioning, upgrades, and modifications of equipment
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and reports
- Analyze complex technical problems and make sound, independent decisions
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team while communicating clearly with stakeholders
- Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
- Completion of a four-year university program plus a one-year apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems with proven troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
