Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing Equipment)

What's the Job?
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Siemens manufacturing equipment. This role performs preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on critical production assets to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Pay Rate: From $21.60/hr
Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Contract Role Potential to Convert to Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance on ovens, plasma systems, ultrasonic welders, laser etchers, and potting/dispensing equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and controls issues
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Troubleshoot PLC based equipment and automation systems
- Document maintenance activities and support audits
- Support production during shifts and on call as needed
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, TPM, 5S)
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field
- 5-10 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience maintaining Siemens or similar industrial equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial automation
