<h3>What You’ll Do</h3>
<ul>
<li>Operational Oversight
<ul>
<li>Manage daily barge logistics, including scheduling, dispatching, loading/unloading, and monitoring transit of dry and liquid fertilizer cargoes.</li>
<li>Optimize fleet utilization, turnaround times, and efficiency to meet demand and reduce costs.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Vendor and Partner Management
<ul>
<li>Coordinate with carriers, terminals, and inspection services to maintain service quality.</li>
<li>Negotiate and manage contracts, freight rates, and demurrage claims.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Safety and Compliance
<ul>
<li>Ensure operations comply with HSSE and environmental standards.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate documentation for transfers, inspections, and audits.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Planning and Reporting
<ul>
<li>Track and report key metrics (e.g., on‑time delivery, cost per ton‑mile, demurrage trends) and identify improvement opportunities.</li>
<li>Support budgeting and cost control for barge logistics.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Team Leadership
<ul>
<li>Supervise logistics staff, providing training, feedback, and career development.</li>
<li>Promote collaboration across Midstream and Downstream teams.</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
<h3>What You’ll Bring</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Marine Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li>
<li>Minimum 8 years of experience in inland marine logistics, barge operations, or bulk commodity shipping—fertilizer or chemical experience preferred.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of barge scheduling, inland marine market and regulations, and terminal operations.</li>
<li>Excellent leadership, organizational, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.</li>
<li>Proficiency in logistics management systems and Microsoft Office applications.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.</li>
