Accounting Advisory Services
We are seeking a highly skilled Manager, Accounting Advisory to join our team.
About the Opportunity:
The successful candidate will provide guidance and support on accounting policies and financial reporting matters, including the interpretation and application of relevant accounting standards. Key responsibilities include advising on complex accounting considerations during the development and review of internal and external business submissions and initiatives.
This includes preparing and reviewing documentation, memos, and presentations to communicate accounting positions and recommendations to various internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will lead and support the resolution of complex accounting issues in collaboration with departments across the organization and with external partners.
As a key point of contact for accounting-related advice, you will promote the application of internal accounting policies and financial reporting standards to ensure accurate and reliable financial information.
You will offer subject matter expertise and daily support on technical accounting matters across the organization and manage a team responsible for delivering accounting advisory services and addressing complex accounting challenges.
In addition, you will contribute to departmental priorities by supporting key projects or stepping in to assist with advisory work based on team needs and resource allocation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Completion of a University degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business
- Minimum eight years of progressive experience in accounting advisory or a large public accounting firm
- Accounting Designation is required (CPA, CMA, CGA, CA)
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $130,000 to $150,000 per year and a hybrid working environment.
