POSITION SUMMARY

Stratus Comfort Inc. ("Stratus"), a sister company of Wyse Meter Solutions Inc. ("Wyse"), recently launched an HVAC rental and maintenance program for the multi-residential space. Stratus provides condominium developers and building operators with a long-term, capital-efficient alternative to purchasing and maintaining in-suite HVAC equipment. Through long-term rental and service agreements, Stratus manages long-life HVAC assets such as heat pumps and fan coils, delivering predictable costs, consistent performance, and reliable professional maintenance.

The Manager of Operations will lead the full lifecycle of Stratus' HVAC rental program. This includes coordinating with the developer on HVAC installations and overseeing key functions including new account setup, ongoing support for customers, billing, contract administration and management, service delivery, and asset oversight.

Acting as the operational lead for Stratus, this role will interface with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure program success and customer satisfaction. The manager will work closely with Wyse's finance, sales, customer support, and operations teams to support accurate reporting, program growth, and operational success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Support

  • Provide Wyse sales team with support (e.g. proposals, contract reviews, etc.) for HVAC leasing opportunities for new construction and retrofit.
  • Work with Wyse marketing department to develop marketing material for Stratus.

Management of Third-Party Service Providers

  • Coordinate with developers to ensure that the correct HVAC equipment is installed on time and in accordance with agreements.
  • Interface with Wyse operations and third-party maintenance and service providers to ensure that the equipment was commissioned properly and has no deficiencies.
  • Manage relationships with third-party maintenance and service providers to ensure timely and effective servicing of Stratus equipment.

Customer Enrollment and Support

  • Oversee new account setup to ensure complete and accurate configuration.
  • Manage move-in and move-out enrollment processes for Stratus customers.
  • Handle escalations and collaborate with customer service teams to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.

Billing, Payments & Remittances

  • Verify payments and remittances for direct-billing customers and third party billed customers.
  • Follow up on outstanding remittances.

Contract Management

  • Manage rental contracts and equipment buyouts across the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Wyse customer support and legal teams to administer agreements and resolve contract related matters.

Asset Management

  • Oversee Stratus HVAC equipment assets, including lifecycle tracking, replacements, and inventory related coordination.

Strategic Initiatives

  • Support Stratus-related initiatives (e.g. retrofit program, partnerships, etc.).
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements across the operations lifecycle.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education – degree/diploma in business, operations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience.
  • Operational management experience, ideally within a property/facility (or portfolio of
  • properties/facilities), utilities, or technical environment.
  • Basic knowledge of financials, including the ability to interpret data and use spreadsheets confidently.
  • Customer service experience, with demonstrated ability to manage customer interactions and resolve issues.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with experience managing cross-functional workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing third-party service providers or contractors.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, building mechanical equipment, or residential property operations.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Some travel within Ontario may be required.
  • Overtime as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Concord, ON
