Manufacturing Company seeking Maintenance Technician to ensure maximum uptime for production machinery by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical faults, and repairing equipment. Key responsibilities include installing, adjusting, and repairing, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic systems while adhering to strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts to prevent failures.
  • Troubleshooting Repair: Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and reassemble production machinery, including hydraulic presses, CNC machines, conveyors, and robotic arms.
  • Electrical/Mechanical Tasks: Repair motors, drives, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and wiring, as well as gearboxes, pumps, and pneumatic systems.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and company safety policies.
  • Documentation: Maintain maintenance logs, document repairs, and use computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Installation: Setting up and commissioning new manufacturing equipment.
  • Facility Upkeep: Maintaining support systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure within the plant.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and PLC troubleshooting.
  • Tools: Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree (e.g., Industrial Mechanic, Electrician) is highly preferred.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of lifting heavy equipment, standing for long periods, bending, and working at heights.


Essential Skills:

  • Technical Aptitude: Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • System Knowledge: Hands-on experience with motors, conveyor systems, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, and specialized manufacturing equipment.
  • Physical Strength: Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in cramped or uncomfortable spaces.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills to collaborate with production teams and management.


Typical Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED is the minimum; a diploma from a mechanical or electrical trade program is often preferred.
  • Experience: Most manufacturing roles require 25 years of experience in an industrial setting.
  • Certifications: Gas Technician License (G-License): G2: Professional-level, Master Electrician (ME) License.
  • +5 years experience.


Compensation: $30/HR (depending on experience).
