Role Purpose:
Under the direction of the Channel Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing day-to-day marketing activities to drive conversion in the Canadian market. This role focuses on key dealers and other conversion channels to generate demand and increase sales for Roland, Boss, and V-MODA brands. Utilizing account-based marketing tactics, the coordinator will optimize dealer and marketing initiatives to maximize Roland’s share of business.
Role Accountabilities:
Build long term professional relationships with regional dealer network; coordinate, execute and analyze relevant marketing plans to maximize Roland visibility at Dealer owned platforms.
Connect with regional launch and campaign activities to convert demand for Roland (and its sub-brands) via dealer and consumer channels.
Plan and implement dealer marketing and promotional content for dealer channels, while providing marketing support that achieves marketing objectives, drives customer loyalty, and supports profitable sales growth.
Cultivate, enhance and maintain relationships via dealer visits together with DSMs & Product Managers to further understand dealer business and spot opportunities for proactive solutions while sourcing new opportunities to expand reach.
Coordinate the connection of Launch and Campaign activities, in accordance with agreed plan and guidelines.
Coordination of promotions and advertising w/ Sales and Product Management.
Ensure coordination and delivery of assets to dealer and advertising accounts.
Localization
– Coordinate French language localisation using appropriate resources
Execute allocated marketing spend in line with budget allocated per market, category and activity. Assist in accurate budget reporting per month as needed.
Under the direction of the Channel Marketing Manager, North America, coordinate, virtual and face to face events to facilitate customer experience of the Roland brand.
Coordinate all operations including creating an event brief, ordering of marketing materials, data capture and ensuring data is input into CRM supporting pre-determined data capture KPI’s.
Brief internal teams / departments on current campaigns.
Liaise with Channel Marketing Manager, North America to feedback any local requests outside of the agreed plan, for example a local sales issue and need for sales action / marketing activity.
Key Skills
Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business (preferred).
Knowledge and use of current marketing technologies and best practices.
Previous experience working in a team environment + remote or hybrid experience is an asset.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
1-3 years of digital marketing and social media experience.
Can do/will do attitude, planning, speed and urgency mindset.
Good knowledge of the music industry market; work experience inside a music store is a plus.
Ability to speak, write & proofread in English – French language capabilities preferred.
Driver’s license, valid passport and availability to travel.
