Our mission is to mitigate risk and enable performance, particularly in adverse weather, through cutting-edge data analytics, sensor integration, and alerting systems.</p><p></p><p>As a Mechanical Engineering intern, you will join a talented, world-class team, building breakthrough technologies, working on the next generation of aviation systems.</p><p></p><p>ROLE OVERVIEW</p><p>Collaborate with QA/QC and engineering teams to design and implement product life cycle testing equipment and test plans.</p><p>Conduct stress tests to validate product life cycle projections.</p><p>Perform various testing procedures to verify product functionality after updates or changes.</p><p>Collect, analyze, and present data on product testing outcomes.</p><p>Develop and apply practical solutions in a fast-paced environment.</p><p></p><p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p>Carry out planning, design, and construction of test rigs</p><p>Select and implement mechanical and electromechanical components for high reliability and modular test systems.</p><p>Carry out verification and validation testing, documenting results and flagging issues.</p><p>Automation of testing processes.</p><p>Participate in sprint meetings and provide progress updates, as well as feedback on internal processes.</p><p></p><p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</p><p>Enrolled in a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering degree as part of a co-op program.</p><p>Able to work onsite in Edmonton, Alberta.</p><p>Available for an 8-month work term starting January 2026</p><p>Able to work in a multidisciplinary environment, communicating across department lines.</p><p>Ability to work hands-on with various tools and equipment to develop prototypes.</p><p>Desire to learn new skills in a fast manner.</p><p>Detail-oriented, with excellent communication and documentation skills.</p><p></p><p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p><p>Previous co-op work term experience or student club experience.</p><p>Microcontroller experience.</p><p>CAD experience (SolidWorks, Fusion, Onshape, etc.)</p><p>Prototyping Experience.</p><p>Fabrication experience (3D printing, CNC, etc).</p><p></p><p>WHY JOIN US </p><p>Pegasus is entering a critical growth phaseand youll help shape the foundation behind it.
