Insight Global is seeking a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) to join the team of one of our clients in Hamilton, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting high-quality radiologic exams to aid physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. You will collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes, particularly in musculoskeletal and neurological health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality radiologic exams on patients promptly, following imaging protocols.
- Adhere to requisitions and special instructions to capture the correct images.
- Work with physicians to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Utilize technical judgment to ensure optimal imaging results while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
- Provide patient care with an emphasis on pain management and improving functional outcomes.
- Participate in an innovative medical clinic, leveraging modern technology and advanced practices to improve patient care.
- Assist with special projects and clinical activities as needed.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with privacy regulations (HIPAA).
- Foster professional relationships with patients, physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Medical Radiation Technologist certification from an accredited program.
- Licensing: Active member of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
- Professional Membership: Active member of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Familiarity with the standards and regulations set by the CMRITO.
- Exceptional attention to detail and technical proficiency in diagnostic imaging.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in radiologic imaging.
Pay range is roughly $33/hr – $51/hr, depending on relevant skills & experience.
Expected hours: 40/week. Flexible hours, including day and evening shifts, Monday-Friday (weekends as needed).
