Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Mainframe z/OS System Programmer to join their team. As a Mainframe z/OS System Programmer, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting critical mainframe operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What’s the Job?

  • Provide primary zOS support for IBM commercial mainframe accounts.
  • Install and maintain Mainframe z/OS and related ISV software.
  • Engage in problem determination and resolution for complex issues.
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery tests and on-call rotation.
  • Collaborate with vendors and management to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

What’s Needed?


  • In-depth knowledge of SMP/E and system utilities.
  • Experience with ACF2, IO Gen, and Assembler coding skills.
  • Strong diagnostic skills including PD, IPCS, and LOGREC.
  • Familiarity with job scheduling products like BMC & IBM Scheduler.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.

  • Fournir un support principal zOS pour les comptes commerciaux mainframe d’IBM.
  • Installer et maintenir le logiciel Mainframe z/OS et les logiciels ISV associés.
