<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>2 year minimum experience is essential for this position. As a <span >Millwright/Industrial</span> Mechanic for Industrial Commercial Conveyor Assembly and Installations, you will be integral to the assembly, installation and maintenance of conveyor systems.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 2 year experience in a Millwright position is essential.</li><li>Must be able to read blueprints.</li><li>Must have own tools and transport.</li><li>Comply with Site Safety Plan, Site Rules and arrangements.</li><li>Install mechanical equipment to design specifications and drawings.</li><li>Take instruction from assigned Mechanical Supervisors for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently.</li><li>Install mechanical systems and their components for the purpose of ensuring the condition meet standards of previous installations as developed with Benchmark Catalogues.</li><li>Install the mechanical system to the customer requirements.</li><li>Report damage to equipment and tools for the purpose of ensuring availability in a safe operating condition.</li><li>Participates in meetings, workshops, training and seminars, as assigned for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions.</li><li>Engage in problems solving where appropriate regarding site activities.</li><li>prevent fines and interruptions by complying with and enforcing the applicable codes and regulations.</li><li>Undertake mechanical static checks recording within Static Check Sheets or site reporting tool.</li><li>Responds to emergency situations during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.</li><li>Transports a variety of tools, equipment and supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at job site.</li><li>protect the mechanical systems from damage during installation.</li><li>Liaise with contractors as instructed.</li><li>Attend toolbox talk, safety stand down and other safety related meetings on site.</li><li>Undertake lifting activities in a controlled manner in accordance with Lifting AP requirements.</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Nature and Scope:</strong></p><ul><li>The nature of the job involves working closely with JCK site management on and ongoing basis regarding all matters in connection with the project site(s).</li><li>Layout and prepare equipment for installation.</li><li>Install material handling (conveyor) systems.</li><li>Experienced in installing air piping (knowledge and ability to sweat copper pipe etc.).</li><li>Line and level conveyors.</li><li><span >Alignment/terminating/vulcanizing</span> of belts.</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Required License and Certification:</strong></p><ul><li>Millwright.</li><li>Welding.</li><li>Forklift certified.</li><li>Scissor lift certified.</li><li>Fall Protection trained.</li><li>Working at Heights.</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Additional Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Effective time management skills.</li><li>Attention to detail.</li><li>Active knowledge of safety guidelines in the industrial environment.</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge.</li><li>Up to date knowledge of industrial tools.</li><li>Join our team to contribute to innovative industrial solutions in a dynamic work environment.</li></ul></p></p>Create Your Resume First
