Desjardins is looking for passionate people who will contribute to its life and health insurance teams by taking care of the analysis of members’ and clients’ files. As a Non-Complex Health Care Management Specialist, you will contribute to the processing of work absence claims, occupational health promotion and disability management. You play a vital role in processing claims. You will evaluate disability claims that meet the criteria for non-complex claims based on specific criteria related to the different diagnoses and expected durations. You will act in daily support to Complex Health Care Management Specialists. Finally, you will follow up with various disability benefit agencies (Canada Pension Plan, WorkSafe BC, and Insurance Corporation of British Columbia) as part of the management of ongoing files. As you work in a team, a high level of autonomy is sought, you must be able to evaluate your tasks and prioritize them well.   • What you bring to the table


  • College diploma in a related field

  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in Disability, Total &Permanent, Quickpay, Payments


  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Experience in health care, life and health insurance, administration or human resources
