IBM’s Client Innovation Centre (CIC) Nova Scotia is one of IBM’s top-performing delivery centres worldwide. We specialize in delivering cutting-edge SAP solutions to leading Canadian and global organizations. We’re looking for an experienced SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Functional Consultant to help clients optimize asset performance, reduce downtime, and improve operational efficiency.
Your role and responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering with business stakeholders in maintenance and asset management.
- Conduct fit/gap analysis and design SAP EAM solutions aligned with client needs.
- Configure SAP EAM/PM modules, including equipment hierarchies, work order management, and maintenance planning.
- Prepare functional specifications and maintain project documentation.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (MM, FI, etc.).
- Provide functional support during testing, deployment, and post-go-live phases.
- Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to client teams.
Required education
Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred education
Associate’s Degree/College Diploma
Required technical and professional expertise
- 5–7 years SAP EAM/PM functional consulting experience.
- Minimum 2–3 full life-cycle SAP implementations in the asset management domain.
- Strong understanding of preventive/corrective maintenance processes, asset lifecycle management, and related integrations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Leadership experience in guiding project teams.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Experience with S/4HANA Asset Management.
- Knowledge of mobile maintenance solutions and IoT‑enabled asset monitoring.
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance tools and industry asset standards.

Must have the ability to work in Canada without sponsorship.
This role will involve working with technology that is covered by Export Regulations sanctions. If you are a Foreign National from any of the following US sanctioned countries (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia regions of Ukraine) on a work permit, you are not eligible for employment in this position.
