We are always learning, and want to make sure you have the support you need to build the skills you need to grow in your career</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>About the role:<br /></p><p>Our Accounting Admin & Payroll will gain experience in various accounting processes and will support our employee experience by ensuring they provide responsive, friendly, and professional service. The successful candidate will be a team player who takes initiative and knows how to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. This position is perfect for someone who is process-driven, comfortable working independently, but enjoys a team-oriented approach.</p><p><br /></p><p>You&#39;ll work Monday to Friday, and have weekends off to enjoy your own RV camping adventures! </p><p><br /></p><p>Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting & Payroll Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and executing payroll, benefits, and assisting in accounting processes, including:</p><ul><li>Maintain a payroll system that ensures timely and accurate compensation processing for all employees</li><li>Ensuring the timely filing of all payroll tax and benefit reports</li><li>Responding to employee questions and inquiries regarding pay to resolve any payment issues that may arise</li><li>Processing bi-weekly and monthly payroll, including time adjustments, bonus calculation, and commission calculations, administering vacation pay, and deducting ARs</li><li>Partnering with the Controller to administer payroll elements of the benefits program, including calculation and deduction of premiums</li><li>Assisting with processing and recording daily financial transactions</li><li>Processing aged receivables and following up on payments</li><li>Compiling and reconciling daily cash outs</li><li>Maintaining organized and up-to-date accounting records</li><li>Supporting the processing of payables and expense reports</li><li>Responding to questions related to billing and payment status</li><li>Preparing payment documents for approval and coordinating with relevant departments</li><li>Maintaining accounts payable files and records<br /></li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>1-2 years payroll administrative experience</li><li>A high level of professionalism and confidentiality</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Highly organized, keen eye for detail, and excellent time management</li><li>Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to our 28712 114 Avenue, Acheson location</li></ul><p>If this sounds like you and you are interested, we encourage you to apply!
