<p><b>Job Title: Payroll Manager (PLP)</b></p><p><b>Location: Mississauga, ON, Canada</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>About the Role</b></p><p>We are seeking an experienced <b>Payroll Manager</b> to oversee payroll operations for Canadian entities and lead technical payroll projects. This role combines <b>70% functional payroll processing</b> and <b>30% technical implementation</b>, including system configurations and migrations to scalable platforms. You will collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and process improvements.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>• </b>Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple Canadian entities.</p><p><b>• </b>Ensure timely and accurate employee payments and government remittances.</p><p><b>• </b>Liaise with payroll providers (ADP GlobalView) and internal teams under a managed services model.</p><p><b>• </b>Oversee payroll audits, reconciliations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.</p><p><b>• </b>Lead year-end processes, including tax filings and reporting of taxable benefits.</p><p><b>• </b>Administer ESPP, stock options, and pension remittances.</p><p><b>• </b>Support payroll-related projects, including platform migrations and integrations with HCM systems (SAP SuccessFactors).</p><p><b>• </b>Coach and manage payroll team members, fostering a culture of excellence.</p><p><b>• </b>Stay updated on legislative changes and implement compliance measures.</p><p><br></p><p><b>What It Takes</b></p><p><b>• 10+ years</b> of supervisory experience in Canadian payroll within an international, multi-entity environment.</p><p><b>• </b>Expertise in outsourced payroll systems (ADP GlobalView, Streamline, Celergo).</p><p><b>• </b>Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors and payroll system implementations.</p><p><b>• </b>Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll regulations and compliance.</p><p><b>• </b>Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.</p><p><b>• </b>Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.</p><p><b>• </b>Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong issue-resolution skills.</p><p><b>• </b>Professional certification/membership in the <b>National Payroll Institute</b> preferred.</p><p><b>• Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP)</b> designation required.</p><p><b>• </b>Second language skills considered an asset.</p>
