About the Opportunity


Our client is seeking an Interim Payroll Specialist to join their dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Payroll Supervisor, this role offers an exciting opportunity to manage payroll operations across Canada, the USA, and Barbados. The successful candidate will work alongside a supportive HR and finance team to maintain seamless payroll processing. Key Responsibilities


  • Manage full-cycle payroll for approximately 350 employees across multiple regions (Canada, USA, Barbados).
  • Utilize ADP systems for payroll processing.
  • Prepare and submit bi-monthly payroll for review and approval.
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Oversee the preparation of payroll reconciliations and year-end tasks, including T4 preparation.
  • Collaborate closely with HR to update payroll records for new hires, departures, and salary changes.
  • Coordinate with Service Canada for ROE and other statutory requirements.
  • Support finance with payroll journal entries and month-end reconciliations.


What You Bring


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with ADP payroll systems.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian payroll regulations; knowledge of US payroll regulations is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in handling payroll for a multi-national organization.
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability to multiple systems.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
