Job Title: Porter
Location: Courtesy Ford Lincoln
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Compensation: $19.00 per hour
Courtesy Ford Lincoln is seeking a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused Porter to support our Service department. This role is often the first point of contact for customers and plays an important part in ensuring a smooth, professional, and welcoming experience. The Porter position involves a combination of customer interaction, vehicle handling, and lot organization in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and welcome incoming clients in a friendly and professional manner and direct them to the appropriate department or advisor
Apply protective materials (seat covers, floor mats, steering wheel covers, etc.) to incoming service vehicles
Park service vehicles appropriately and safely according to dealership procedures
Manage the car wash area and ensure vehicles are cleaned and ready for customer pickup
Retrieve and bring customer vehicles to the service drive when customers are checking out
Shuttle customers to and from nearby locations as required
Move vehicles between dealership locations and off-site lots as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive, parking areas, and vehicle storage areas
Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies when operating vehicles
Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
Friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to safely operate a wide range of vehicles
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to walk, stand, and be on your feet for extended periods
Steady, full-time weekday schedule (no weekends)
