<p>Project Architect (Remote / hybrid)</p><p><b>Ontario Seaway Corridor Region</b></p><p>Architecture49 (A49) is seeking a Project Architect resident in the Seaway Corridor Region to join our team on a remote or hybrid basis.</p><p>Architecture49 is a growing firm with a wide range of career opportunities. The region combines small-town values with growing city centers, known for educational projects and expanding into sectors like community impact, commercial spaces, and industrial hubs. Our architects appreciate both rural and urban landscapes, creating designs that help communities prosper.</p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ol><li>Remotely manage architectural staff, lead project meetings, and coordinate with engineering consultants on multi-disciplinary projects.</li><li>Contribute to architectural design solutions and produce construction drawings.</li><li>Perform reviews and quality checks of drawings for compliance with codes and standards.</li><li>Provide technical mentoring and leadership to less experienced staff.</li><li>Guide contract administration, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, conducting field visits, and working with contractors.</li><li>Coordinate with management on project financials, including planning, scheduling, forecasting, and staffing.</li></ol><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Registered architect in Ontario or eligible for registration.</li><li>At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.</li><li>Experience managing remote teams is an asset.</li><li>Effective communication skills; ability to deliver services in French is an asset.</li><li>Knowledge of BIM principles, REVIT, Microsoft 365, and Bluebeam is preferred.</li></ul>#J-18808-Ljbffr
