Our comprehensive portfolio is built to address the challenges of today and adapt the future, ensuring long-term sustainability and success for our customers.</p><p>Ameresco Canada has an immediate opening for a Project<br>Coordinator – Finance and Reporting<br>to provide financial and administrative support to projects and project managers by managing budgets, coordinating procurement, tracking expenditures, reconciling invoices, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Assist with preparing and tracking project budgets and expenditures.</li><li>Collect, consolidate, and process matched and approved documents for payment.</li><li>Reconcile company invoice records and payments with vendor statements.</li><li>Provide project expense information to project managers and teams.</li><li>Monitor and follow up on outstanding approvals or discrepancies in workflows.</li><li>Coordinate and schedule project meetings and appointments.</li><li>Act as a liaison between project managers, departments, and vendors.</li><li>Organize and maintain financial files, reports, and project documentation.</li><li>Ensure timely issuance and approval of purchase orders (POs).</li><li>Prepare reconciliation and month-end closing reports as requested.</li><li>Monitor daily project progress, budgets, and timelines.</li><li>Ensure project transactions comply with established financial policies.</li><li>Provide detailed updates on project progress and financial status to stakeholders.</li><li>Preserve and organize vendor information files.</li><li>Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.</li><li>Coordinate with the Finance department to initiate and track purchase orders and sub-contract agreements.</li><li>Attend meetings as necessary.</li><li>Assist the project team as necessary, and</li><li>Perform other duties as required.</li></ul><p>Minium Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Post Secondary Education in business, engineering, technology, and/or related fields.</li><li>Must have experience in planning, scheduling and/or project coordination for construction projects.</li></ul><p>Additional Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office.</li><li>Construction and Field experience an asset.</li></ul><p><em>Ameresco Canada Inc. is committed to providing accommodations for applicants with disabilities.
