<p>What you will do:</p>
<ul>
<li>Review and approve incoming vendor estimates to ensure quality and technical competence.</li>
<li>Providing Scope review and seek clarity from the vendor on estimates, negotiate costs with vendors/contractors.</li>
<li>Provide dispute‑resolution services on estimate reviews relative to the CAA member, vendors and the Insurance company.</li>
<li>Provide advice to Property adjusters when exceptions are encountered.</li>
<li>Coordinate the appraisal resources to ensure assignments are dispatched.</li>
<li>Participate in the industry events and various special projects for the benefit of the claims department as identified from time‑to‑time.</li>
</ul>
<p>What you have:</p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 1‑3 years’ experience in building construction as a project manager or as a senior property adjuster with an insurance carrier</li>
<li>Working knowledge of XACTANALYSIS platform and XACTIMATE software.</li>
<li>Familiarity with the building code and hazardous material exposure management.</li>
<li>Educational background including relevant post‑secondary education complemented by a CIP designation or working towards a CIP designation</li>
<li>IICRC Fire and Water restoration certification would be an asset.</li>
<li>Strong organizational; decision making and problem solving skillset with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</li>
<li>Advanced technical knowledge of property damage analysis.</li>
<li>Advanced negotiation skills and investigative logic.</li>
</ul>
