Your future duties and responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain Python scripts to process directories of cropped .jpg images containing asset identifiers.
- Generate tabular reports in .csv format for reconciliation and audit purposes.
- Automate the end-to-end process, including image ingestion, OCR, validation, and reporting.
- Integrate output with reporting platforms such as Power BI for visualization and stakeholder insights.
- Collaborate with operations and asset management teams to validate real-world asset changes.
- Ensure scalability and reliability of the solution for deployment in production environments.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role :
- 7+ years of experience with Python 3.x, OCR, scripting development, code repositories, and data analysis.
- Experience writing code, loading / installing Python modules, and using code repositories.
- Managing and / or working with Python virtual environments.
- Experience working with Excel datasets, including reading, modifying, and updating Excel sheets programmatically.
Desired Skillset (Nice to Have)
- Experience and / or exposure to Data Science
- Experience in the financial industry
