About the Role

We are seeking a well organized, presentable and a polished individual with a professional demeanor. An ideal candidate would be a self-starter as this is a rate opportunity for potential partnership in the Real Estate division. We consider all our associates as an integral part of the firm and are looking for someone to join our growing team as early as possible. Candidate MUST have at least 4 years of experience in residential real estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle residential real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and refinances
  • Review agreements of purchase and sale and advise clients accordingly
  • Manage files independently from opening to closing
  • Liaise with clients, lenders, brokers, builders, and opposing counsel
  • Prepare and review closing documents, reports, and trust reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with Law Society of Ontario requirements
  • Provide exceptional client service with a practical, solution-oriented approach
  • Ability to handle files with minimal supervision

Qualifications & Experience

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
  • Minimum 5 years of Real Estate Law experience (flexible based on fit)
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario real estate law and conveyancing procedures
  • Experience with Teraview and real estate practice management software
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Required Skills

  • Strong technical legal, analytical and drafting skills combined with the ability to use logic to solve complex problems
  • Excellent organizational skills and rigorous attention to detail
  • Strong legal research, drafting, oral advocacy, and client services skills
  • Ability to handle competing deadlines on tight timelines
  • An existing book of business is an asset, but not required

Pay range and compensation package
