About the Role
Mahler Machining is hiring a Receiving Coordinator to handle material receiving and rough stock preparation prior to production. Reporting to the Shop Foreman, candidates will be responsible for operating an automated horizontal bandsaw to cut raw material to size in accordance with work instructions.
As an AS9100 aerospace-certified manufacturer, Mahler takes material traceability seriously. The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for physically and digitally maintaining material documentation in our ERP system to ensure 100% traceability. This role requires strong coordination with machinists and our purchasing department, so strong interpersonal skills are required.
The Receiving Coordinator plays a vital role in our organization. As a supply chain partner for over 100 Canadian and US OEM customers, we operate in a highly dynamic environment. Candidates must be comfortable adapting to changing priorities throughout the day and working collaboratively with the broader team.
The Receiving Coordinator can expect to spend approximately two thirds of their time receiving raw material and operating the horizontal bandsaw, with the remaining one third supporting other shop needs.

Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Receive material and deliveries against vendor purchase orders in our digital ERP system verifying material specifications against purchase order requirements </li><li>Scan material certification documents and packing slips into the ERP system</li><li>Regular operation of an automated horizontal bandsaw to cut material to size prior to CNC machining</li><li>Occasional operation of other equipment including a vertical bandsaw and cold saw</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized saw room, including raw material for active work orders and general stock </li><li>Move raw material around the shop to required locations for production </li><li>Assist the shipping department with packaging orders for customer delivery when needed </li><li>Assist the finishing department with post‑machining handwork when needed </li><li>Drive the company vehicle for customer deliveries and pickups when required </li><li>Participate in basic equipment maintenance and general shop support </li><li>With training, cover the Shipping Manager role occasionally (vacations, illnesses), including preparing shipping documents and arranging courier deliveries</li></ul>
Requirements<ul><li>1–2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing </li><li>1–2 years of forklift experience </li><li>1–2 years operating a bandsaw or similar equipment </li><li>Active or expired forklift certification (recertification provided) </li><li>Class 5 driver's licence </li><li>Physically able to lift and move heavy objects </li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures </li><li>Experience with a digital ERP system is an asset </li><li>Self‑starter with the ability to work independently </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset </li><li>Safety‑conscious and able to follow instructions </li><li>Comfortable working in a busy, loud production environment </li><li>Candidates should review our core values before applying: https://mahler-</li></ul>
