Position Status: Temporary (12-18 Months), Full-time (1.0 FTE)

EFW Radiology is currently seeking a Receptionist to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional patient care!

EFW Radiology owns and operates twelve community-based clinics providing Diagnostic Imaging, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Pain Management services.

The Role:

EFW Receptionists are responsible for completing the patient registration process efficiently and effectively providing an exceptional patient experience to all patients entering an EFW site.

Reporting to: Clinic Support Supervisor

Role Overview:

• Warmly greets patients and visitors, creating a positive first impression.
• Monitors patient waiting room dynamics, ensuring timely communication about wait times and relevant information.
• Adheres to privacy policies, safeguarding personal and health information.
• Efficiently completes patient registration, recording accurate personal details.
• Maintains patient records in the RIS system.
• Responds professionally to patient inquiries in person or over the phone.
• Schedules follow-up appointments as needed.
• Coordinates workflow for technical staff.
• Retrieves patient records.
• Manages clinic equipment and supplies.
• Undertakes additional duties as assigned.

You have the following:

• Completion of Medical Office Assistant Diploma Program preferred.
• Previous healthcare environment experience is an asset.
• Compassionate patient care and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Motivated self-starter, both independent and team-oriented.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Accurate work in a busy reception setting.
• Good judgment under various circumstances.
• Effective time management.
• Attention to detail in an open waiting room.
• Quickly learn and use computer programs.

Schedule: Clinic Rotations including daytime, evening, and/or Saturday shifts as required.
