As Regional Manager, Clinical Services, you will provide strategic clinical leadership across multiple Parkland Retirement Living sites in Nova Scotia. Ensure regulatory compliance, elevate care standards, mentor clinical leaders to deliver exceptional resident experiences. Passionate about quality improvement and coaching teams? Key Responsibilities



  • Lead, mentor, and develop clinical leaders and Regional Clinical Partners to ensure safe, high quality care delivery.

  • Partner with Divisional Lead and General Managers to evaluate clinical performance, identify risk, and implement improvement strategies.

  • Oversee programs such as infection prevention and control (IPAC), nursing quality improvement, and utilization review.

  • Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and regulatory standards.

  • Monitor clinical indicators and lead continuous quality improvement initiatives.

  • Deliver and oversee onboarding, training, and education for clinical teams.

  • Travel regularly to communities to provide leadership and support.

  • Audit readiness and regulatory compliance maintained across all communities.

  • Resident satisfaction and clinical outcomes trending positively.

  • Clinical leaders coached and empowered to deliver excellence.


Qualifications



  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in nursing or practical nursing (RN preferred; LPN considered).

  • Current registration with the appropriate nursing regulatory body.

  • Minimum 10 years of nursing experience, including at least five years of direct patient or resident care.

  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience overseeing clinical operations (retirement living, long-term care, or community health preferred).

  • Experience leading teams in a unionized environment.

  • Advanced degree in nursing or leadership (MN, MScN, Med, MBA) considered an asset.

  • Specialized training in gerontology, dementia care, palliative care, IPAC, or related areas is an asset.
