Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine individual needs.
- Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to safety protocols and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Manage IV infusions, catheterizations, tube feedings, and ventilator support with precision and aseptic technique.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for accurate medical documentation and medical records management.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations including specimen collection/processing, phlebotomy, and basic medical imaging procedures as required.
- Provide specialized care for patients with complex conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, infectious diseases, or those requiring hospice or palliative care.
- Support emergency response efforts by managing airway management, acute pain control, trauma care in Level I or Level II trauma centers, and emergency room procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and post-acute care strategies to optimize recovery outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on health coaching topics like nutrition, medication management, chronic disease management, and family planning.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare standards including NCQA standards and infection control protocols while maintaining accurate medical documentation.

Pay: $34.00-$36.00 per hour
