With a focus on professionalism and genuine connection, you’ll help create memorable moments for every guest, every time.<br><br>Your responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Welcoming guests and guiding them through their dining experience with care and confidence</li><li>Answering questions about menu items, specials, and wine pairings with professionalism and enthusiasm</li><li>Taking accurate food and beverage orders and entering them efficiently into the POS system</li><li>Delivering food and drinks promptly and with attention to presentation and timing</li><li>Performing opening and closing duties to ensure a smooth and successful shift</li><li>Checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly</li><li>Managing guest transactions accurately, including cash, debit, and credit payments</li><li>Assisting in basic bartending tasks, such as preparing drinks or garnishes when needed</li><li>Maintaining a clean, organized, and functional service station and dining area</li><li>Supporting team members and communicating effectively with kitchen and bar staff</li><li>Taking direction from the Restaurant Manager and contributing to daily operational goals</li><li>Demonstrating sound judgment, professionalism, and leadership in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Creating extraordinary guest experiences through thoughtful, attentive service</li><li>Performing additional duties as assigned to support the success of the restaurant</li></ul>This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys meaningful guest interaction, takes pride in delivering exceptional service, and thrives in a vibrant, team-oriented atmosphere.<br><br><b>The Spark you Bring to Every Dining Experience</b><ul><li>Experience in restaurant, catering, or high-volume service environments</li><li>A natural ability to connect with guests and deliver outstanding hospitality</li><li>Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with both guests and team members</li><li>Proven ability to stay composed and effective in fast-paced, high-pressure situations</li><li>A guest-first mindset with a passion for creating memorable experiences</li><li>Leadership skills and the ability to support or supervise a team when needed</li><li>A polished, professional appearance and demeanor suited to upscale or formal events</li><li>Smart Serve Certification (Required)</li><li>Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event-based hours</li><li>A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed</li></ul><p>We are Carmens Group—a proud Hamilton-born hospitality company with a mission to create extraordinary memories.
