<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Essential Job Functions</strong></p><ul><li>Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards, procedures, and legal regulations; proactively identifies and communicates potential hazards or concerns.</li><li>Performs all assigned duties in alignment with TEAM’s Core Values.</li><li>Provides guidance to job site supervisors regarding safe work practices.</li><li>Promptly addresses and resolves safety concerns identified in the field.</li><li>Communicates regularly with management and clients regarding safety-related activities, updates, and progress.</li><li>Conducts routine safety inspections at jobsites and documents findings accordingly.</li><li>Investigates, documents, and follows up on all work-related incidents, including injuries and accidents.</li><li>Initiates and maintains required records related to accidents and near misses; ensures timely reporting to corporate safety.</li><li>Verifies District compliance with technical and safety training requirements.</li><li>Confirms adequate inventory and availability of approved PPE (e.g., hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, fall protection equipment) across District locations.</li><li>Assists Districts with Canadian Occupational Health and Safety Regulation (SOR’s) requirements and ensures accurate completion of injury summaries and reports.</li><li>Collaborates with managers and supervisors to ensure proper execution of field evaluations and safety observations; maintains related documentation.</li><li>Performs random vehicle inspections to verify acceptable operational conditions and required safety equipment.</li><li>Ensures all mandated tool and equipment inspections are conducted and appropriately documented.</li><li>Supports Districts in completing client-issued safety questionnaires and prequalification forms (PQFs).</li><li>Conducts scheduled safety evaluations and prepares detailed reports for regional and district leadership teams to ensure compliance with TEAM and Canadian regulatory requirements.</li><li>Performs COR Audit for districts within their area of responsibility in accordance with the COR provincial requirements.</li><li>Provide assistance with maintaining registry requirements for each of the registries that are subscribed to within the area of responsibility.</li><li>Performs hazard assessments, recommends corrective actions, and monitors their implementation to mitigate risk.</li><li>Collaborates with leadership to develop and revise safety, health, and emergency response plans.</li><li>Coordinates and facilitates emergency drills and preparedness exercises.</li><li>Leads and supports root cause analysis following incidents; ensures implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.</li><li>Actively participates in and facilitates safety meetings at the site, District, and regional level, as required.</li><li>Compiles and presents safety performance data, trends, and incident statistics to regional leadership on a weekly basis and to client leadership as required.</li><li>Maintains current knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in safety and incident prevention.</li><li>Demonstrates a commitment to professional development by pursuing continuing education and attaining recognized certifications within HSE-related disciplines.</li><li>Develop and deliver safety orientations.</li><li>Scheduling and tracking on-going training.</li><li>Maintaining annual driver abstracts for employees who operated TEAM vehicles or vehicles on behalf of TEAM.</li></ul><p><strong>Job Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in a Health, Safety, or Environmental discipline preferred.</li><li>Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in a safety leadership role within an industrial environment.</li><li>Holds one or more recognized HSE certifications, such as CRST, NCSO, CSSS, COSS, CHST, and/or OHST or CRSP.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Conditions</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for coordinating health, safety, and environmental efforts within an assigned region; based out of a District office location.</li><li>Field duties involve both indoor and outdoor work in plant or refinery environments.</li><li>Regular interaction with field crews, supervisors, and client representatives.</li><li>Exposure to high-noise environments and production machinery is expected.</li><li>Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with Company safety requirements.</li><li>Must be able to tolerate frequent travel between job sites, including varying climate conditions.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical and Mental Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.</li><li>Capability to walk, climb stairs/ladders, and navigate jobsite terrain as needed.</li><li>Clear verbal and auditory communication skills (with or without reasonable accommodation).</li><li>Adequate manual dexterity (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform administrative duties.</li><li>Sufficient physical mobility and reflexes (with or without reasonable accommodation) to carry out duties both in the office and at off-site locations.</li><li>Ability to safely access elevated platforms and confined spaces within industrial environments.</li><li>Ability to collaborate with various groups to ensure a mutually agreed to solution is arrived at that facilitates the work without compromising safety and health.</li></ul></p></p>Create Your Resume First
