Ascendant Coating LTD. is a newly established painting and coatings company. Our parent company, Ascension Automation Solutions (est. 2013) are experts in the field of industrial robotics, integration, and vision systems.

Providing everything from system design to machine commissioning.



Role and Responsibilities

Our business is growing!. We are looking for a talented sales representative/account manager to join our team.

This is a tremendous opportunity for the right candidate to become part of this enterprise in its early stages.



The successful candidate must demonstrate their ability to forge relationships with clients, think creatively when faced with a challenge, and provide knowledgeable solutions to our clients. An ideal candidate will be able to promotes sales growth, manage client relationships, and provide accurate quoting.

This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to analyze market trends to drive sales growth.

A strong candidate will demonstrate the ability to:
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all services offered by Ascendant.
Aggressively develop leads and follow-up new business opportunities with customers
Follow market trends in industrial performance technology
Provide accurate quotes to clients with an appropriate sense of urgency to meet our customer service expectations.
Maintain and grow our existing customer relationships and service area through regular customer care, to ensure repeat and referral business.
Demonstrate accountability by achieving all identified sales targets and performance indicators.
Conduct yourself in a courteous and professional manner at all times while representing Ascendant and our other associated businesses.



Qualifications & Core Skills
5+ years estimating and outside sales experience
5 years experience in painting and coatings industry.
Communicate clearly through strong written and verbal skills.
Own a vehicle and a valid ‘G’ driver’s license.
Ability to travel as required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
Experience with bidding software (i.e. Accubid) an asset.

Education:
Post-secondary education in a sales and marketing discipline is an asset
