Compensation: $65,000 – $85,000 base + uncapped commission + full benefits + Truck + Fuel Card

The Opportunity

Our client is expanding their regional sales team and is looking for a Territory Sales Representative to cover the Oakbank and the South Eastern Manitoba market. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in lumber, hardware, or building materials who’s ready to transition into a client-facing, field-based sales role.

About the Role:

As a Territory Sales Representative, you’ll be the face of the company across Souris, Brandon, and surrounding areas. You'll build trusted relationships with contractors, builders, and renovators, working closely with internal quoting and logistics teams to ensure seamless service from order to delivery.

This role is about being proactive, visible, and valuable in the field, making regular site visits, spotting new opportunities, and offering real solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Transition your product knowledge and customer service skills into a field-based sales role
  • Support and grow a portfolio of contractor and builder clients through in-person visits and consistent follow-up
  • Partner with quoting and operations teams to ensure accurate pricing and timely fulfillment
  • Identify project opportunities and recommend the right mix of materials and solutions
  • Stay connected to the market—understand project timelines, seasonal trends, and contractor needs
  • Represent the brand with professionalism, reliability, and a solutions-first mindset
What We’re Looking For:
  • 2+ years of experience in building materials—contractor desk, yard, inside sales, or similar
  • A solid understanding of lumber, hardware, and construction projects
  • Desire to move into a full-time outside sales role with room to grow
  • Strong interpersonal skills—you’re known for being approachable, knowledgeable, and dependable
  • Self-starter who enjoys autonomy and takes pride in being part of a trusted team
  • Valid driver’s license and comfort navigating a regional territory
