<p><p>BERTANI is a boutique audit, tax, and advisory firm in Toronto, Canada. Founded in 2001, BERTANI specializes in serving private companies with growth objectives and global interests and foreign direct investment into Canada. Our clients include numerous subsidiaries of significant global entities.</p>
<h3>The Opportunity</h3>
<p>We are currently looking for someone to join our growing team as a Senior Accountant, Global Client Services.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Preparation of compilation working paper files including basic bookkeeping where required;</li>
<li>Planning and execution of review and audit engagements with note disclosures under ASPE and IFRS;</li>
<li>Completion of special projects as they arise;</li>
<li>Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns;</li>
<li>Performance of financial and systems analysis;</li>
<li>Preparation of engagement budgets and cost proposals;</li>
<li>Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and their teammates in a wide range of industries;</li>
<li>Building positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to request and suggestions</li>
<li>Participating in business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities with existing clients</li>
<li>Effectively communicating with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis.</li>
<li>Supervision/file review of junior team members</li>
</ul>
<h3>Your experience and education</h3>
<ul>
<li>You have completed your CPA designation</li>
<li>You have a minimum of 3 -5 years of external audit experience working in a public accounting firm.</li>
<li>You work independently, are proactive, but also value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work</li>
<li>You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills</li>
<li>You want to be part of a fast growing, entrepreneurial environment</li>
<li>Knowledge of global client services an asset.</li>
<li>Fluency in other languages as asset.</li>
