You’ll develop groundbreaking reporting frameworks, scale solutions across segments, collaborate closely with actuarial and analytics experts, and challenge the status quo to continuously enhance accuracy and performance. Lead and mentor your peers, handle impactful projects, and present your findings to senior management. This role offers ample opportunities for skill development and career advancement.## **What you’ll do:*** Create accurate top-line forecast using Python/Earnix, leveraging data science models.* Create monthly reporting to compare actual vs projected results to drive business decisions.* Partner with Finance & Street Pricing to create aligned metrics for performance monitoring.* Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including Finance, Street Pricing, and Data Science, to drive alignment and shared outcomes.* Identify opportunities to streamline the reporting process and implement best practices for efficiency.* Effectively manage projects and monthly reporting, overseeing technical design, scope, timelines, communications and performing reviews to ensure accuracy.* Train and coach junior staff on the fundamentals and technical aspects as well as best practices around process management.* Be actively involved in the actuarial community at Aviva.## **What you’ll bring:*** Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, or other related subjects.* Minimum 10 years of actuarial or relevant experience.* FCAS or equivalent are preferred.* Proficiency in Python and Earnix.* Strong analytical thinking with the ability to propose new or enhanced solutions.* Proven ability to advance complex projects, navigate challenges, and deliver results within tight timelines.* Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and mentor junior actuaries.* Curiosity and passion for improving on status quo.* Ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple manner.## **What makes you stand out:*** Good understanding of data science models, including development, validation, or interpretation.* A solid understanding of demand mechanisms and statistical concepts.## **What you’ll get:*** The salary band for this position ranges from $130,000 to $180,000.
