Experience with Data Centre&#39;s and other Mission Critical Facilities is a bonus!</p><p><b><strong>Responsibilities</strong></b></p><ul><li>Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation.</li><li>Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid for efficient estimating processes.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and scope.</li><li>Conduct negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.</li><li>Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.</li><li>Provide support in the development of project schedules and timelines.</li><li>Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and contracts for future reference.</li></ul><p><b><strong>Experience</strong></b></p><ul><li>Proven experience in construction estimating, with a strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies.</li><li>Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong negotiation skills to effectively engage with vendors and subcontractors.</li><li>Experience in project management is a plus, demonstrating the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in pricing and estimates.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
