Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Commercial & Institutional Construction)

Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Salary: $125,000 - $135,000 annually (based on experience)

As Senior Project Manager, you will report to the VP of Operations, lead high-value builds, and coach PMs managing $5 million-$10 million projects. Backed by strong Operations, Field, and Preconstruction teams plus dedicated coordinators, you will have the resources to succeed.


What You'll Do:

  • Manage commercial and institutional construction projects from planning through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, including contractors and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee contract administration, proposals, and negotiations.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and distribute regular project status reports.
  • Provide mentorship to the Project team.


What We're Looking For:

  • 8-10 years of experience in construction project management (commercial or institutional).
  • Experience managing projects between $20 million to $50 million.
  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. Proven experience coaching and mentoring a project team is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with construction principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with MS Schedule and Procore is considered an asset.
