INTRODUCTION TO ROLE
Stathera is looking for a Senior Test Development Engineer to join our team. We encourage enthusiastic candidates with Bachelor’s, Masters’ or PhD degrees in relevant engineering fields that have an interest in working on innovative projects to apply to this position.
The successful candidate will be involved in developing Stathera’s integrated product Final Testing as well as ASIC and post silicon characterization. In addition, they will be exposed to the full product development cycle. The candidate will work with the Stathera CSI team on different projects developing MEMS-based timing devices as well as electronic circuits while utilizing hardware and software.
The Senior Test Development Engineer will report directly to the VP of the System Engineering and will be expected to work on a full-time basis, namely 40 hours a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Developing ATE Test Solutions;
Launch Product Test Solution to OSAT;
Improving and optimizing high volume testing and yield;
Designing and Developing Bench validation hardware and software;
Architecting and analyzing analog and mixed-signal circuits and electronics;
Supervising the execution of product testing based on product specification;
Assisting and contributing in developing embedded system and firmware;
Analyzing and processing data and generating well-written reports.
REQUIRED SKILLS
A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or any other related designation;
Extensive experience in developing solutions in ATE platform, experience with C, C++, or VB;
Experience with ETS88/365 will be an asset;
Experience with tri-temperature handlers is an asset;
Experience with Strip handler and probe solution is an advantage;
A strong background in analyzing and designing analog electronics;
Experienced and proficient in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro;
Knowledge of embedded systems and programming;
Knowledge of computer programming such as: Python, C++ or MATLAB are preferred;
Proficient in data analysis with proven problem-solving skills;
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others;
The ability to work well under pressure and excellent time management skills.
DESIRED SKILLS
Background in high frequency analog and mixed-signal electronics and measurement systems is an asset;
Having experience in micro-electro-mechanical-systems (MEMS) technology is a bonus.
