Position Overview

We are excited to offer a
Service Technicianrole at our Ontario branch. This position is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with at least one year of experience in video surveillance, eager to gain hands-on experience in deploying, maintaining, and repairing mobile video surveillance towers. You will play a crucial role in our expansion efforts, operating under diverse conditions across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and nearby regions, contributing significantly to our client experience. The role involves outdoor work in various settings, including active construction sites, industrial environments, retail spaces, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, upgrade, and repair video surveillance towers at customer locations.
• Operate in outdoor environments across various settings including construction sites and industrial areas.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with CCTV equipment.
• Respond promptly to service requests and manage on-site repair tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed and truck inventory.
• Safely operate company vehicles and ensure all road safety regulations are followed.
• Clean, test and repair towers as required.
• Perform tasks in the shop and additional responsibilities as requested by the Company or Branch Manager.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience installing/servicing video surveillance equipment.
• Strong knowledge of computer networking and basic electronics is an asset. Experience with automotive repair would also be considered and asset
• Proficient and safe use of small hand and power tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working at heights, using ladders, working in the elements and driving long distances
• Valid drivers license with a clean abstract.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Willingness to work overtime and participate in an on-call rotation schedule.

Physical Demands

• Outdoor work - exposure to the elements (heat, cold, rain, snow, mud, etc.)
• Ability to regularly lift 50lbs
• Comfortable with climbing and working at heights from time to time
• Comfortable with driving long distances
• Comfortable with working on construction sites - exposure to noise, dust moving equipment, Etc.
• Comfortable with wearing various forms of PPE

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly range: $28.00 - $32.00
