JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the team during your assigned shifts, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining high standards of service and product quality. You will be a key player in supporting both the day-to-day operations and the development of your team, all while ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervision & Leadership: Lead, motivate, and supervise the team during your shift, ensuring a high level of performance and a positive work environment.
  • Training & Development: Provide on-the-job training and support to new hires and existing team members. Offer continuous feedback and help develop employees’ skills to improve team effectiveness.
  • Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service by handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism. Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the shift operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly, from inventory management to food preparation and cleanliness.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with team members and other supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Shift Coordination: Manage shift schedules and adjust staffing levels as needed to ensure that service levels are maintained during busy periods.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment, reporting any concerns to management.
  • Problem-Solving: Address any operational issues that arise, from equipment malfunctions to staffing challenges, ensuring solutions are found quickly and effectively.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with cash handling, order management, and reporting tasks.


Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in the food service, retail, or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards, with the ability to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • A positive, “can-do” attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service.


REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Ability to follow Standards & procedures
  • Strong work ethic & ability to get the job done
