It\'s ours, too. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Site Safety Manager for multi-family construction projects in the Sea-to-Sky corridor. This role will be site-based, and you will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of our Safety Program. As a COR Certified Company, our strong commitment to the health and safety of all who work on our projects is paramount.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Monitor and enforce safety compliance and regulations</li><li>Conduct risk assessments</li><li>Provide on-site safety guidance to trade partners</li><li>Act as a liaison between Site Safety Advisors, Superintendents and Project Managers</li><li>Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports up to, and including, project statistics to the Safety Manager</li></ul><h3>You have</h3><ul><li>A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the British Columbia construction industry (required)</li><li>Strong organization and people skills</li><li>Strong knowledge of</li><li>Cranes</li><li>Mobile equipment</li><li>Ground disturbance</li><li>Wood frame construction processes</li><li>Electrical safety</li><li>Outstanding computer skills, including experience in Electronic Safety Systems, such as SiteDocs</li><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills</li><li>Knowledge of construction work processes, tools, and machinery</li><li>The ability to guide, train and teach site crews regarding safety</li><li>Understanding of current regulations, bylaws, and utility protection</li><li>Strong regulatory knowledge and ability to advise the site superintendent accordingly</li></ul><h3>Education</h3><ul><li>A current CSO Certification (from BCIT or other reputable establishment)</li><li>OFA Level 2 training</li><li>WHMIS Certification</li><li>NCSO Certification (preferred, or working towards this certification)</li><li>Confined Space training (preferred)</li><li>Fall Protection training (preferred)</li><li>COR Internal Auditor training (preferred)</li><li>De-Escalation training (preferred)</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Great, diverse, authentic people!</li><li>Unlimited career growth opportunities</li><li>Mentorship from the “best in the biz”</li><li>Corporate Giving Strategy supporting community development</li><li>Annual salary reviews and performance bonuses</li><li>100% employer paid Benefit Plan with Healthcare Spending Account and Employee Assistance Program</li><li>Educational Assistance Program</li><li>“Dress for your day” policy… and more!</li></ul><h3>Salary</h3><ul><li>$90,000 - $120,000 dependent on experience</li></ul><p>Safety First.
