Position Overview
We’re looking for a Skilled Carpenter and Joiner with expertise in precision woodworking and carpentry to play a critical role in the manufacturing of our tiny homes. If you take pride in your craftsmanship and enjoy working in a fast-paced, creative environment, this job is for you!
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced carpentry work, including framing, cabinetry, and finishing.
- Design and construct custom joinery components with precision and attention to detail.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Work with a variety of materials, including wood, laminate, and composite materials.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of quality.
- Inspect and ensure all finished components meet specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a carpenter or joiner, preferably in residential or modular construction.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to unique design challenges.
- Physically capable of lifting and maneuvering materials and working in tight spaces.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
