<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>The Role: Snowplow / Heavy Equipment Operator / Snow Removal Crew Lead</strong></p><p><strong>Earn $25–$30/hr + Guaranteed Pay Options*</strong><br /><em>Paid bi-weekly</em></p><p>You can earn $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience and reliability. As a Snowplow and Heavy Equipment Operator Crew Lead at CSL, you will lead a team of snow removal professionals while operating snowplows and other heavy equipment. You will play a key role in keeping our communities safe and accessible throughout the winter season.</p><p>If you enjoy working outdoors, aren’t afraid of a little cold, and don’t mind hard work, this is the position for you! The reality is that it won’t always be easy. There will be long hours, undesirable weather, and those “why am I awake right now?” moments, but you’ll be part of a team of passionate and dedicated professionals who will support you every step of the way.</p><p><strong>Start date:</strong> November 1st, 2025</p><hr /><strong>To Apply, You Should Have the Following</strong><ul><li><p><strong>G2 license and clean driver’s abstract required</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Experience operating a snowplow and/or heavy equipment</strong></p></li><li><p>Reliable transportation to and from job sites (we are not accessible by public transit)</p></li><li><p>Open availability for on-call work (snow likes to fall at night — hours may be very late or very early)</p></li><li><p>Ability and willingness to work <strong>long hours during peak days</strong></p></li><li><p>Access to a <strong>mobile phone</strong> for communication</p></li><li><p>Ability to work <strong>independently and as part of a team</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Motivation, dedication, and a focus on safety and efficiency</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Physically fit</strong> — able to lift 50 lbs or more</p></li></ul><hr /><strong>Compensation</strong><ul><li><p>$25–$30/hour, based on experience and reliability</p></li><li><p><strong>Guaranteed Pay Options*</strong> during the snow season</p></li><li><p>Paid bi-weekly</p></li><li><p><strong>Opportunity for full-time, year-round employment</strong> if desired at the end of the contract</p></li></ul><p>Hiring is ongoing and positions will be filled as required.
