In this role, youll play a key part in helping small and medium-sized businesses succeedwhile shaping the future of AI for local economies.</p><p><br /></p><p>Your Impact:</p><p>As a Developer, you&#39;ll work with engineering teams, QA, and product managers to:</p><ul><li>Contribute to building features using modern programming languages and frameworks such as Go and Angular.</li><li>Participate in software design discussions focused on simplicity, maintainability, and performance.</li><li>Apply AI tools and APIs to support tasks like code generation, data handling, and workflow automation.</li><li>Help implement AI-powered features including intelligent recommendations, summarization, and natural language prompts under mentorship.</li><li>Participate in agile rituals such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to drive high-quality software delivery.</li><li>Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, while contributing to automated test coverage and peer code reviews.</li><li>Support production excellence through debugging, on-call rotations, and monitoring improvements.</li><li>Continuously grow your skills in software development and responsible AI usage through learning and collaboration.<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>What You Bring to the Table:</p><ul><li>You bring 35 years of experience in software development, ideally within a SaaS or tech environment.</li><li>You have a solid grasp of front-end and back-end development and are proficient in programming languages such as Go (preferred) or Java, and Angular (preferred) or React.</li><li>You&#39;re comfortable working with databases like PostgreSQL, using version control tools like Git, and integrating with REST APIs.</li><li>You communicate effectively in collaborative team environments and have a growth mindset.</li><li>You take accountability for your learning and are committed to delivering high-quality results.</li><li>While a Bachelor&#39;s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, equivalent practical experience such as internships, co-ops, or project-based development is also valued.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>About Vendasta:</p><p>We help businesses get more customers.
