Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking an FTM Cheque Tester to join their team. As a FTM Cheque Tester, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the Funds Transfer Management (FTM) team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: FTM Cheque Tester
Location: Remote (Within Canada)
What’s the Job?
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing on FTM cheque processing modules.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts for cheque transactions (e.g., issuance, clearance, cancellation, stop-payment).
- Validate end-to-end cheque processing, including file formats, batch processing, image capture, and reconciliation.
- Conduct testing across various interfaces including core banking systems, imaging systems, and payment gateways.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and operations teams to understand requirements and resolve defects.
What’s Needed?
- 3+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 1–2 years in FTM or payments domain.
- Experience with Oracle FTM, or similar Funds Transfer systems.
- Good knowledge of cheque lifecycle and related banking processes.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Experience with SQL for test data setup and validation.
