<p><b>Spatial Designer (Experiential / Retail / Pop-Ups / 2D / Branding & Design</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>Role Summary</b></p><p><br></p><p>We're looking for a Spatial Designer to help bring our experiential marketing (XM) activations, retail environments, and hospitality pop-ups to life. This role is a mix of concept, design, and real-world build, so you'll need to think in 3D, design beautifully, and understand how things actually get made.</p><p><br></p><p>You'll work closely with Creative Directors, designers, writers, strategists, producers, and fabrication partners to develop environments that are on-brand, immersive, functional, and unforgettable from first sketch to opening day.</p><p><br></p><ul><li>PLEASE INCLUDE PORTFOLIO LINK </li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>What You'll Do</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>Concept & Spatial Ideation</b></p><ul><li>Translate briefs into strong spatial concepts for brand activations, retail installs, and pop-up hospitality experiences.</li><li>Contribute to brainstorms and help generate multiple design routes quickly.</li><li>Think through the full guest journey: entry flow touchpoints moments that stick.</li><li>Pair storytelling with design so the environment means something, not just looks nice.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>3D Design & Visualization</b></p><ul><li>Produce layouts, elevations, 3D models, and renderings that clearly communicate intent.</li><li>Create environment key frames and visual narratives for presentations and pitch decks.</li><li>Develop design systems for spaces (materials, signage, lighting, fixtures, furniture, props, interactive zones).</li><li>Support both "big idea" visualization and detailed design development.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Technical Design & Production Support</b></p><ul><li>Work with producers and fabricators to ensure designs are feasible, budget-aware, and safe.</li><li>Prepare scaled drawings / specs when needed (floor plans, sight lines, clearances, accessibility).</li><li>Help source materials, finishes, furnishings, and scenic elements.</li><li>Flag risks early (budget, lead time, site constraints, safety, install complexity).</li><li>Attend site visits, tech checks, and installs as required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Collaboration & Client Communication</b></p><ul><li>Partner with brand teams, account, strategy, and production to keep work aligned to the brief.</li><li>Present design intent clearly to internal teams and clients.</li><li>Incorporate feedback without losing the creative spark.</li><li>Coordinate with vendors and external partners to maintain design integrity through build.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Must-Have Skills & Experience</b></p><ul><li>3-7+ years of experience in spatial / experiential / retail / event / environmental design.</li><li>Branding and Design work with examples</li><li>Strong portfolio showing 3D and 2D thinking, real-world builds, and compelling environments.</li><li>Skilled in core tools, including:</li><li>3D + rendering (SketchUp / Rhino / Cinema4D / Blender or similar)</li><li>Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)</li><li>Layout / drafting (AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Revit, or equivalent)</li><li>Presentation tools (Keynote / PowerPoint / Google Slides)</li><li>Solid understanding of fabrication processes and materials (scenic, signage, retail fixtures, finishes).</li><li>Ability to design within constraints: budgets, timelines, site conditions, brand rules.</li><li>Great visual communication - you can make an idea legible fast.</li><li>Organized, proactive, and comfortable working on multiple projects at once.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Nice-to-Haves</b></p><ul><li>Experience with hospitality environments (pop-up bars, restaurant takeovers, food culture builds).</li><li>Familiarity with interactive / tech-enabled spaces (AR, projection, sensors, etc.).</li><li>Motion or walkthrough capability (After Effects, Unreal, Enscape, Twinmotion, etc.).</li><li>Basic knowledge of code / compliance / accessibility standards.</li><li>Vendor network or sourcing experience.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>What Success Looks Like in This Role</b></p><ul><li>Concepts feel experience-first, not just design-first.</li><li>Spaces are exciting, brand-right, and buildable without last-minute redesigns.</li><li>Presentations clearly sell the journey, the look, and the logic.</li><li>Fabricators love working with you because your ideas are ambitious and realistic.</li><li>Clients walk into the finished space, and it matches (or beats) what they bought.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Why Join In</b></p><ul><li>You'll work on a wide range of XM activations, retail spaces, and hospitality pop-ups.</li><li>You'll collaborate with a tight senior creative team and have real influence on ideas.</li><li>We care about craft, culture, and making experiences people actually talk about.</li><li>You'll see your concepts become real in the world, fast.</li></ul><p></p>Create Your Resume First
