<h3>Responsibilities</h3>

<ul>
<li>Recruiting your team</li>
<li>Training and developing your management team</li>
<li>Training and developing your team on brand, product, and service</li>
<li>Oversee all aspects of the retail business, including budgets, customer experience, staff experience, and operational excellence</li>
<li>Lead your team to continuously improve performance and development</li>
</ul>
<h3>Sales & Customer Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>Customer Service: plan to exceed daily sales goals and provide a unique, inclusive customer experience</li>
<li>Brand education: communicate brand values and position on Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging</li>
<li>Product Knowledge: maintain strong knowledge and provide informed recommendations</li>
<li>Driving Sales: develop and execute plans aligned with business strategy to achieve short- and long-term goals</li>
</ul>
<h3>Team Leadership</h3>
<ul>
<li>Leadership Practices and Staff Development: coach and develop team with development plans and constructive feedback</li>
<li>Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging: promote DEIB training and inclusive environment</li>
<li>Engagement and Performance: analyze performance and create action plans to improve engagement</li>
<li>Recruitment and Selection: form diverse teams and uphold equal opportunity practices</li>
</ul>
<h3>Operational Excellence</h3>
<ul>
<li>Policies and Procedures: ensure compliance with training, time and attendance, safety, and budgets</li>
<li>Stock and Inventory: manage orders, inventory, and waste within budget</li>
<li>Visuals and Merchandising: execute merchandising plans and maintain a clean, consistent customer experience</li>
<li>Scheduling, Time, and Attendance: hire appropriate staff for peak times and manage breaks and payroll within budget</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<p><b>Required:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>3-5 years managing in a retail environment</li>
<li>Strong HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, conflict resolution and performance management</li>
<li>Excellent listening and communication skills</li>
<li>Excellent analytical, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills</li>
<li>Excellent organization and time management skills</li>
<li>Strong customer service, supervisory and sales skills</li>
<li>Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business</li>
<li>Ability to work flexible hours including holidays, evenings, and weekends</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Preferred:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with consultation-based customer service models</li>
<li>Ability to train staff through positive coaching and feedback</li>
<li>Track record of developing retail staff careers</li>
<li>Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Suite</li>
<li>Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training</li>
<li>Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages</li>
</ul>
